01The month in one paragraph

June is your busiest month, and it was your best June. 189 leads — 155 calls and 34 form submissions — against 106 calls in June last year. That is +46% on calls and +36% on website sessions, comparing like month to like month.

Your Google profile was viewed 5,337 times and produced 215 direction requests — people navigating to you, which is about as close to intent as a free metric gets.

Calls plus form submissions, by month. HVAC demand is seasonal, so the two highlighted peak months are the like-for-like comparison — not this month against last.

The shape of that chart is the most important thing in this report, and it is why we do not lead with month-over-month numbers. Your business swings by a factor of two between March and July. A report saying "leads up 87% since March" would be true and worthless — it is June, and it was going to be up regardless of anything we did.

The honest comparison is June against June: 106 calls last year, 155 this year. Same season, same weather patterns, same customers deciding their air conditioner is not keeping up.

What we can and cannot tell you

We can count what happens on the website and the Google profile with confidence: sessions, calls placed from the listing, direction requests, form submissions, review counts.

We cannot honestly tell you how much revenue this produced, because we do not have your job data. Anyone who hands you a marketing report with a precise revenue figure and no access to your accounting is guessing. If you want that number, give us read access to your job records and we will build the attribution properly — until then this report stops at leads, and says so.

04Your dashboard

This report is a monthly snapshot. The dashboard is the same numbers, live, whenever you want them — you do not have to wait for the 1st or ask us to pull something.

Included with your engagement

Halstead Heat & Air — live dashboard

  • Leads by month, with the seasonal shape visible rather than hidden
  • Where leads came from — Google listing calls, other calls, web forms
  • Google visibility: listing views and direction requests
  • Reputation: review count and rating over the whole engagement
  • Every underlying figure in one table you can read or export

Right now it is showing 189 leads in June against 106 calls in June last year, a 4.7 rating across 87 reviews, and 5,337 views of your Google listing.

The window control matters more than it looks. Set it to six months and this business appears to be growing explosively; set it to twelve and you can see that half of what looks like growth is simply summer arriving. That is why the dashboard defaults to twelve months and why this report leads with June against June.

05Where you stand, and what it's worth

The finding

You are third by review count and first by rating. Ridgeline has 214 reviews to your 87, but rates 4.6 against your 4.7. The gap between you and the market leader is volume, not quality — and volume is the easier of the two to fix.

Pricing

Your diagnostic fee is $89. The five posted fees in your market are $79, $89, $119, $129, $149, a median of $119.

If the diagnostic fee moved toPer callCalls/monthAnnual effect
$104 — halfway to median+$15118+$21,240
$119 — the market median+$30118+$42,480

The caution matters as much as the number. That $42,480 assumes call volume holds, and a diagnostic fee is the most price-visible thing you sell — it is the number people ask on the phone. Moving to the median in one step risks losing calls you would otherwise have won. Moving to $104 first, holding for a quarter, and watching whether call volume moves is the version of this recommendation that cannot hurt you.

Worth adding: with the highest rating in your market you have more room to price above the bottom than any competitor. Right now you are priced like the cheapest option and rated like the best one.

06Next month

  • July is your peak. Nothing structural changes to the site during it — we do not make changes we cannot watch closely in the month everything depends on.
  • Seasonal content swaps to emergency-repair language, which is what people search in a heat wave.
  • Google profile photos refreshed with current job sites.
  • Diagnostic fee change monitored weekly against call volume.

07Your engagement, and what you're not getting

This report reflects the Insight engagement at $1,500 a month plus $1,500 to start. It covers exactly what is listed in section 02 and nothing beyond it.

The next tier up is Partner at $3,000 a month. It adds:

  • Reviews and reputation — collected, monitored and answered
  • Social media — 12 posts a month, written and posted for you
  • Email marketing — 2 campaigns a month to your list
  • Campaign performance reporting
  • A customized company dashboard — revenue, gross margin, net profit, backlog
  • A 2-hour strategy session with Michael every month
  • Priority turnaround on requests

Whether that is worth the difference depends entirely on whether the work would change a decision you are actually making. If it would not, stay where you are — we would rather keep a client for five years at $1,500 than lose one in eight months at $3,000.
